Hand-Me-Downs

A poem by Beverly Stock.

Death rides wild throughout the land,

Madness lifts a bony hand,

Defiance gives wild demands,

A ghostly ace takes command.

Heavy hoofs in darkness beat,

Destruction rages in the streets,

Despair drowning every town,

Death and virus hand-me-downs.
