"Oh No!"

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

A poem by Beverly Stock.

With my laughter, a squirt of glee

Laughing out loud, did I just wee?

Don’t need many, just two or three

Adult disposables, here I come.

My pants, now stained, are apricot

I try to dry the one dark spot

And try to camouflage the blot

Adult disposables, here I come.

Just as I am, about to spout,

With continuous laughter, I’m in doubt,

Fingers crossed. Breath in, breath out,

Adult disposables, here I come.

I giggle on, a bit more wet,

An ugly feeling, you can bet,

Just how many should I get?

Adult disposables, here I come.

Darned aging parts betraying me,

I head for aisles marked ‘Pharmacy”

My coupon affords a remedy.

Adult disposables, here I come.
